My work is based around Machines, Mortality and Memories. I am fascinated by technology and our relationship to it, the general lack of any understanding on how it works or what it is doing. My work is interactive, kinetic and the mechanisms obvious, the current machines portray environmental concerns. I am at that point in life when reflection on what has been plays a part, my Detritus project encapsulates (literally) those small fragments of the past. I am also facing my own mortality, through drawings of anatomy and medical issues.

This replaces the dissertation this year and gives an opportunity to creatively deliver this. I did it as a comic book and it has now been read (estimate) by over 100 people instead of the half dozen readers that undergraduate dissertations would usually get.
